very good game for powell vlly.just to much offense for the orange.the mitchell kid is a very good qb and the big thing i noticed about him, he seemed to show alot of class between plays.good luck to pv and clintwood should be a good one .lets play some bb
The reason Coach was on the field was the officials were TERRIBLE. They called a face mask whenever one of our players stiff armed a guy. There was a major hold on clintwoods TD as well. Still it was a good game and my foot tasted really good in my mouth when allen missed the field goal. The first thing I thought of was trumpet hahaha.
Oh and PV has no reason to celebrate Clintwood is going to manhandle you

Refs were avg for what i have seen this year they were not going to make a call that desided the game there were lots of holding going on by both teams all day but no calls for it so I guess it evens out they did have a problem with the chanes one play where the chane gang moved the change for a first before the refs singneled 1st down. The other big snafu was a Clintwood block in the back on a punt return that the ref messed up the spot (block happened in front of the runnerand the runner did not get past the point of the penality usaly this is a penalty from the spot of the foul but should not have been in that situation.)
All in all I don't think either team brought there best game Clintwood was able to not turn over the ball or make "the big mistake" that has been there problem in the games they have lost this season.
One question for Haysi. With the leg that there kicker has why would you not kick it deep IMHO 1/2 to 2/3 of there kickoffs would be touchbacks
You guys have a real good football team your building right now. They seemed young, but they showed alot of heart. The Ball kid was a haus and your line opened some great holes. Honaker defently has things going in the right direction.

Tell me something, dosen't this post sound a whole lot like the ones that was being posted on the lpd forum after haysi lost to lee high?

It's not always the refs' fault.
I didn't blame the refs I just said they were bad. Mental Mistakes killed us, like looking at a fumbled ball instead of jumping on it and trying to pick up a muffed punt instead of jumping on it. Little things like that will kill you in a close game like this one.
The reason we don't kick deep is because our special teams are horrible and the other team is more likely to run it back with a deep kickoff
